Daricia is a Ph.D. student in the Human-Centered Computing (HCC) program at Clemson University being advised by Dr. Bart Knijnenburg. Her research interests meet at the intersection of people and technology. She is passionate about solving problems from a user-centered perspective. Specifically, she works on creating usable interfaces that promote safe and supportive online experiences for users. Before attending Clemson University, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems and Technology from the University of the Virgin Islands (UVI). She has also worked at Carnegie Mellon’s CyLab as a privacy researcher under the supervision of Dr. Lorrie Cranor. Daricia was born and raised in the Caribbean federation of St. Kitts-Nevis.
