Networking & Connectivity

Ranysha Ware is a PhD student at Carnegie Mellon University, co-advised by Justine Sherry and Srinivasan Seshan.

Her research interests include network congestion control, Internet measurement, and network management. Her recent work aims to understand how the heterogeneity of congestion control algorithms deployed in the Internet, impact fair sharing of network resources.

Prior to CMU, she was Associate Technical Staff at MIT Lincoln Laboratory. She also earned her M.S. in Computer Science from University of Massachusetts Amherst and B.S. in Computer Science from The State University of New York at New Paltz.
