Logan Clark

University of Virginia

I am a third-year PhD student at the University of Virginia, advised by Sara Riggs. I have broad interests in human factors, cognitive systems engineering, and user experience, with an overall focus on finding new ways to shape emerging technologies into resilient, human-friendly systems. My current research seeks to extend kinematic analyses of human arm movements to quantify, understand, and predict 3D interactions with virtual reality interfaces. By advancing current understanding of the processes involved in controlling motor behavior in virtual environments, I hope to pave the way for translating decades of laboratory-based motor control research into practical application. Prior to the University of Virginia, I obtained a B.S. in psychology at the University of Central Florida. For more information about me and my research, please visit my website: logandclark.com
