I am a UX researcher working on the Growth team at Facebook. I use both quantitative and qualitative methods for my research. I received my PhD in mass communications from Penn State University, with a focus on social psychology and HCI. Before that, I spent three years studying and working as a science journalist to fulfill my wide-ranging science interests. And in a previous life, I got a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Peking University in China. I have interned at Samsung Research America and several media outlets (e.g., Discover Magazine, NOVA, AccuWeather, Inc.) for my various roles. I love reading, traveling, cooking, and rock-climbing when I am not on Facebook.
