I’m a user experience research lead on Marketplaces. My research includes qualitative and quantitative methods to understand how people interpret and behave in commerce and payment experiences with particular interest in implicit and explicit consumption motivation. Before joining Facebook, I completed a Ph.D. In Consumer Behavior at the University of Michigan, studying novel strategies for attitude change among consumers in the local food movement. Prior to graduate school, I completed a B.A. In Bioengineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and worked in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry.
