I am a Research Scientist Manager for the Physical Modeling team. We focus on early stage, cross-functional projects at the intersection of physical sciences and computer science. Our current projects include topics such as mapping, sustainability and datacenter optimization, leveraging physics based models and novel technologies in computer vision and machine learning.
Prior to joining Facebook, I was a postdoctoral researcher at Harvard University focusing on quantum optics and quantum communication. Before that I obtained my PhD at the University of Amsterdam studying the properties of quantum matter.
Interests
Connectivity, applied machine learning, and computer vision
