I am a researcher on the Civic Engagement team at Facebook. My research focuses primarily on elections integrity and civic engagement in Brazil. Prior to Facebook, I was a quantitative researcher at Google. I’m broadly interested in human behavior and how technology interacts with decision-making and cognition. I received my PhD in cognitive psychology from The University of Texas at Austin, where I studied how foreign accents influence decision-making. I hold a BA in linguistics and have extensive experience with statistical modeling and quantitative methods in general.
