I’m a UX researcher on the News Feed team at Facebook. I moved to California from Denver, CO to join Facebook in the summer of 2016. Before Facebook, I finished my PhD in cognitive psychology and developmental cognitive neuroscience at the University of Denver. I then worked for a research firm in Denver for 7 years, where I led research evaluating state and federal programs for substance abuse prevention and K-12 education. In 2015, I shifted my career path, joined Pearson as a UX researcher, and led their research for next generation mobile products. I have experience with experimental and quasi-experimental design, quantitative data analysis, inferential statistics and mixed methods. Outside work, you’ll find me spending time with my husband and our spunky daughter, running, reading and doing yoga.
