I am a mixed methods researcher on the Growth team at Facebook. I use a range of qualitative and quantitative methods to answer questions about people’s behaviors, attitudes and preferences when it comes to internet and social media usage. Most of my current research focuses on improving the user experience of people in emerging markets, with a specific focus on women and recent internet adopters in India.
I received my PhD in sociology from Stanford University where I conducted research in social psychology and health. I continued on to a post doc at Stanford before joining the research team at Facebook. Prior to Facebook I also worked in market research at Apple. I have a BA in history and sociology from Dickinson College.
