I design, build, and manage Facebook’s usability labs and provide technical support for the research team. My goal is to provide the necessary tools so researchers can focus on their work and painlessly capture their findings. Previously, I was at Google for seven years where I built and managed close to 30 labs worldwide and supported over 100 researchers. I co-authored and presented a 2009 CHI paper on our system which continues to evolve. Before moving to California, my career spanned education, meeting and event technology, and broadcasting. I hold a BA in Mass Communication and Theater from Bridgewater State College and an MS in Media Technology from Fitchburg State College.
