I am an economic research scientist on the Core Data Science Team since 2017. I enjoy improving on marketplaces and products by combining and building on the literature on statistical modeling, individual decision making theory and game theory. As a past intern on the Core Data Science team, I helped develop easily implementable statistical testing methods that would substantially shorten a very broad set of studies at Facebook. I received a PhD in Economics from Stanford, where I worked on ride-sharing, sequential testing and water-utility price design as well as co-founded a firm that provisions dynamic discounts for restaurants.

Industrial organization, econometrics, empirical market design, computational social science, causal inference, and applied econometrics.
