I am an economic research scientist at the Core Data Science Team since 2017Q4. I enjoy improving on marketplaces and products by combining and building on the literature on statistical modelling, individual decision making theory and game theory. As a past intern at Core Data Science, I helped develop easily implementable statistical testing methods that would substantially shorten a very broad set of experiments at Facebook. I have received a PhD in Economics from Stanford, where I worked on ride-sharing, sequential testing and water-utility price design as well as co-founded a firm that provisions dynamic discounts for restaurants.
