I’m a researcher on the User Experience Research team at Facebook. I conduct conceptual and usability research on special interfaces and Facebook’s internal suite of Design Tools. My entry point into product design and research was as the co-founder and CEO of Recovers.org, building community-level disaster logistics software. I then spent time as a fellow/adjunct at Stanford University’s d.school (Hasso Plattner Institute of Design), and was awarded a White House Champion of Change award for contributions to disaster recovery in the wake of Hurricane Sandy. My work and writings have been featured by TED.com, FastCompany, NPR, CNN and The Harvard Business Review.
Rapid prototyping, accessibility, ethnography, design thinking, workshops and UX skills training.
