I am a research scientist on the Core Data Science team at Facebook. My research interests broadly lie in statistical machine learning and artificial intelligence. More specifically, I am interested in learning useful information from various graphs, at scale, and applying them to improve the integrity of our products. Our eventual goal is to improve the online experience of billions of people. I received my PhD from the Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences department at UC Berkeley, where I studied graphical models and message-passing algorithms. I have also received an MA degree in Statistics, also from UC Berkeley.
