I am a UX Researcher at Facebook with a background in human-computer interaction and social psychology. Before Facebook, I was a post-doctoral fellow at the Human-Computer Interaction Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. I received a PhD in communication from Cornell University. My research applies both quantitative and qualitative methods to investigate computer-mediated communication processes and contexts, and inform the design of tools and platforms to support interactions across boundaries (time, space, language, & culture). When I’m not at the computer, I enjoy cooking, reading, singing, and (forced) cuddling with my cat.
