I am a public policy research manager on Facebook’s Data for Good team. I help build survey data products that nonprofits and universities can use to improve the well-being of communities during times of crisis. In a previous role on the Academic Relations team at Facebook, I built strategic plans for our Core Data Science and UX research teams to drive value for both the academic community and Facebook researchers through research collaborations.
Prior to joining Facebook, I managed the Berkeley Initiative for Transparency in the Social Sciences (BITSS) at UC Berkeley, including its meta-research and global training programs. I also worked with Los Angeles County as a Policy Fellow focused on improving policies related to the commercial sexual exploitation of minors. I hold a master’s degree in Public Policy from UCLA and a bachelor’s degree in Global Studies from UCSB.
