I work on the Events team in a primarily quantitative capacity to understand how people use Facebook to connect offline. Prior to joining the Facebook Research team, I received both my BA and MA in neuroscience from Wesleyan University, studying the effects of emotion and personality on cognitive processes like decision making and attentional allocation. I am particularly interested in the emotional and social impacts of social media, and previously worked on the Protect and Care team to understand, measure, and prevent difficult experiences that people have on Facebook.
