I am a qualitative user experience researcher on Facebook’s Protect and Care (PAC) team. Our team is responsible for helping people feel safe, secure and supported on Facebook. Prior to joining, I was a UX researcher at Google working on hardware and software interfaces of Chromecast and Google Home. I spent much of my career conducting global design research and usability testing on products used in life critical environments, such as surgical implants and first responder/covert ops communications. Other past roles have ranged from Human Factors Specialist to Design Strategist in corporate and consulting realms—Continuum, Altitude, AIR and Motorola Solutions. I hold a BS and an MS in human factors/ergonomics (focus on human/environmental behavior), both from Cornell University.
