I am a qualitative user experience researcher on Facebook’s Protect and Care (PAC) team. Our team is responsible for helping people feel safe, secure and supported on Facebook. Prior to joining, I was a UX Researcher at Google working on hardware and software interfaces of Chromecast and Google Home. I spent much of my career conducting global design research and usability testing on products used in life critical environments, such as surgical implants and first responder/covert ops communications. Other past roles have ranged from Human Factors Specialist to Design Strategist in corporate and consulting realms —Continuum, Altitude, AIR, and Motorola Solutions. I hold a BS and a MS in Human Factors/Ergonomics (focus on Human/Environmental Behavior), both from Cornell University.
