I study the nature and causes of human well-being, with an emphasis on using technology to measure well-being during everyday life. At Facebook, I’m working with Protect & Care Engineering on a number of research projects to help improve users’ experiences. I earned my Ph.D. in Social Psychology from Harvard University and then spent two years as a Robert Wood Johnson Health and Society Fellow. Prior to graduate school, I worked in enterprise software as a product manager for six years. I received a B.S.E. from Duke University with majors in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, and Economics.
