I am a Computational Social Scientist and a Quantitative Researcher on the Central Integrity research team at Facebook Research, where we drive insights to minimize bad experiences for people on Facebook. My research focuses on improving the quality and efficiency of content moderation efforts. I use a range of mixed methods including survey experiments, log data analysis, interviews, and observation.
Prior to Facebook, I obtained my PhD in Information Science from University of Colorado Boulder, where I conducted academic research on community self-moderation.
