I am a Research Scientist at Facebook focusing on building AI platforms and algorithms that advance both research and products. My interest lies in computer vision, large-scale machine learning algorithms, and heterogeneous computation on GPGPU, mobile, and other platforms.
Prior to Facebook I worked at Google Brain on various projects including winning ImageNet 2014 and TensorFlow. I obtained my PhD degree at UC Berkeley on machine learning and computer vision research, and initiated the Caffe project, now an open-source framework for deep learning.
