I am a quantitative user experience researcher at Facebook Research. I am a research psychologist by trade, and hold a doctorate from UC Berkeley. Prior to joining Facebook, I was a research scientist in neuroscience at Stanford University where I developed new approaches to computerized internet games and studied the effects of these on emotions, psychophysiology, and the brain. I am passionate about improving the utility, usability, and general enjoyment of the Facebook product lineup. I use multi-method social science approaches in conjunction with statistics toward this goal.
