I’m a Sociologist who got so excited about digital culture and digital platforms that I woke up one day and found I am a UX Researcher. After completing an M.A Sociology, and an Honors BA in Sociology, both with a focus in digital culture I quickly joined the digital agency and UX business world to apply my strategic thinking, analysis and problem solving skills to user experiences. I have always focused in qualitative research working on innovative qualitative research strategies and unique research projects that broke into a new way of looking at research participants, the internet research field and internet culture. I have published work on the use of online communities to maintain home ties for migrant populations. More recently, focused in great user experiences I have worked with large and small business, big and small brands to explore the role technology plays in their brand, products and services and also the role they play in their use of technology. Over this time I have accumulated over 14 years of in-depth research experience maintaining a passion for information, insight and action. I look forward to working on more verticals, in more spaces and in unique ways all the time.
