I’ve been at Facebook since March of 2013. I started out conducting research for the Pages team, studying how businesses run their Facebook Pages. Then, in November of 2013, I joined Facebook’s Search team, leading studies to understand how people use Facebook’s search tool. In 2016, I decided to make the leap over to work on the Business Platform leading the Platform Ads and Games Research team. These days I spend my time thinking about how to better support startups and developers integrate their apps with Facebook, and how we can better support growing their businesses. Prior to joining Facebook, I was a senior UX researcher at lynda.com, an online training company in Santa Barbara, CA. Before that, I was a UX researcher at Citrix Online, also in Santa Barbara, where I led studies that informed design improvements to tools such as GoToMeeting, GoToMyPC, etc. In 2007, I graduated from UCLA with a master’s in library and information science, with an emphasis in informatics. I love to pioneer new research methods and techniques, and connect product teams with the people, contexts and problems they are solving for. When I’m not running research studies, I enjoy running marathons, and training all over the beautiful Bay Area with my speedy husband.
