I support Novi Research and the Developer Platform team (building the smart contract system Move).
I joined Facebook in 2015 to build out our programs in programming languages and runtimes. Since then I developed an intense interest in blockchain & cryptoeconomics and I have been helping the ecosystem since 2017. I transitioned to Novi in 2018 to devote my energy fully to this field.
Prior to Facebook I spent 10 years at Apple working on advancing programming language and compiler technologies. In 2012 I received the ACM Software System Award for my work in LLVM.
