I’m a qualitative user experience researcher with a background in human-centered computing. I joined Facebook in 2017, and my work has focused on the accessibility and usability of Facebook’s products from a holistic perspective. Prior to joining Facebook, I earned my PhD at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and my dissertation research was on access to technology and education for special populations. I studied Do-It-Yourself assistive technology practices (e.g., 3D-printed prosthetics), technology hobbyist communities (e.g., makers), and the accessibility of education technology interfaces for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
