I am a Research Scientist at Facebook AI, contributing to conversational AI research. My current research interests include reinforcement learning, meta-learning, adversarial learning, federated learning, and privacy/fairness in machine learning. I received the BS degree in 2007 from Sharif University of Technology, Iran, and the PhD degree in 2014 from the Georgia Institute of Technology, in electrical and computer engineering. I am the recipient of the 2015 Sigma Xi Best PhD Thesis Award from Georgia Tech.
