I am a Research Scientist in Facebook’s Core Data Science team. My research develops new methods for network and text analysis that improve our understanding of how exposure to political information on Facebook affects different aspects of social behavior, such as incivility, inequalities in civic engagement, and political polarization.
I received my PhD in Political Science from New York University and am also affiliated with the University of Southern California as an Associate Professor (currently on leave). Prior to joining Facebook, I was an Assistant Professor of Computational Social Science at the London School of Economics.
