I am a PhD student in Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Washington, advised by James Fogarty. My research involves building computational tools for social good and wellbeing. I incorporate insights from qualitative and quantitative studies in the design of structures and interfaces. I am currently focusing on developing tools to understand and address experiences of everyday discrimination. Prior to UW, I completed a M.Sc. in Human-Computer Interaction in University of British Columbia, a M.Sc. in Computer Vision and Machine Learning in Simon Fraser University, and a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering in Sharif University of Technology.
