David Pujol is a PhD student at Duke University, advised by Ashwin Machanavajjhala. His research interests lie in the fields of data privacy and algorithmic fairness in which most of his work has been on the interactions between fair systems and differentially private data. Some of his published work studies the effects of private data on fair systems and how to mitigate those effects.
